Celebrate What’s In Store at the Fremont Hub with Target’s Grand Opening!

FREMONT, CA~ September 13, 2002 – After months of renovation and preparation, the Fremont Hub is unveiling Target! Target will be opening in the old Montgomery Ward location on October 13, 2002. Target and the merchants at the Fremont Hub will be celebrating on Sunday, October 13th between the hours of 11am and 4pm.

The Fremont Hub is inviting the entire community to Celebrate What’s in Store during a fun-filled day of festivities. Events and entertainment for all ages are scheduled. For the kids, the Fremont Hub will be hosting face painting, games, balloons, inflatable jump houses and more! The adults in attendance will enjoy a musical trip to the Caribbean with live music performed daily by VEN PA’CA. Based out of San Francisco, this Bay Area favorite will delight and entertain you with Cuban melodies and dance beats for your listening pleasure.

In addition to the activities and entertainment scheduled for the Sunday, the Target Grand Opening will give customers a chance to re-discover their favorite Fremont Hub stores and take a peek at the new ones too. The entire community is encouraged to attend, enjoy the festivities and Celebrate What’s In Store at the Fremont Hub Target Grand Opening Celebration.
